Ugggh!! Eczema -A Recipe Relief Formula

Wild and Oily Ways

I have struggled endlessly with eczema for 4 years solid. We aren't talking about the itchy, annoying kind that comes and goes and creates a minor frustration intermittently. NOOOO, we are talking chronic, bleeding, cracking, secondary infection status eczema that lasted without any reprieve for 4 solid years.

It was a battle I had actually completely given up on, it was going to be what it was. I had been to regular physicians, naturopathic doctors and I had scoured the internet for any and every witch doctor and personal experience any eczema sufferers had posted about, all to fail miserably and continue to scratch my hands bloody on a daily basis.

Now I don't have any special kind of crazy eczema, this is your simple standard type of eczema, mainly stress and food driven. Slight relief when using your standard hydrocortisone creams, but it would always to come back with a vengeance even while using the physician prescribed creams. So without any further complaining and carrying on :)

I AT LAST HAVE RELIEF!!

I can at last grab my coffee mug without splitting a knuckle wide open from the dry cracked bloody mess I used to call my hands.

So what is the secret? Well there is obviously not one single magical fix but I do have to say essential oils were single handedly the most notable change that saved me from years of pain. I had always used essential oils in my home and with some bath products here and there. BUT, I had never actually bought therapeutic grade oils and applied them topically before. This is where my fastest relief came.

Thank you doTERRA!!! (see my site here)

The recipe below is the roller I made one night while binge watching Vikings, thinking to myself well why not, it's worth a try??!! I looked into the most studied oils that had been proven to give relief to eczema sufferers like myself and whipped up a little glass bottle of bliss!

Wild and Oily Ways Recipe

So like I said earlier, there is no one magical fix for any health issue. A combination of life changes is always the best approach. I found that my eczema was heavily aggravated by stress. Going for a 10 min walk in the forest at dusk with the dogs is a very relaxing and grounding experience. I find that the darkening sky and the sounds of the night coming on while gazing up through the trees at the first stars of the night takes all my thoughts away for a brief moment and that is all one really needs, a brief reprieve from the daily hustle to ground your mental state of mind and release healthy hormones back into the body and fight any ailments.

For me I have a very hard time limiting my diet but I do notice sugars and dairy will increase my eczema but since I have started using this recipe the flare ups from the food are kept to a dull roar. I can live with that for some treat in my life ;)
